CROSS COUNTRY SKI TRAILS
The following table lists places to go cross-country skiing within a 2-1/2 hour drive of Albany. Web links are embedded in this table for web pages for places to ski, downloadable trail maps and Google maps that pinpoint the location of these places. (Links are highlighted in blue and underlined.) Be patient, some trail maps take a while to load. For location maps, click on the colored map icon to use Googles Driving Directions feature to get distance and step-by-step directions from your starting point.
If you havent already visited an area with un-groomed trails, its a good idea to ski with someone whos familiar with the area, as it may involve backcountry ski conditions and steep slopes. Ski at your own risk.
